Hola, I’m Doris
For more than 12 years, I traveled solo across the world. I thought that traveling solo changed my life. And it did. But nothing compared to the traveling within. Because true transformation? That happened when I faced myself. When I dove deep into inner work and shadow work, confronting my deepest wounds and navigating through multiple dark nights of the soul. That’s when I finally set myself free.
I used to be the one everyone turned to – the psychologist to friends, the listener, the questioner, the people pleaser—always making sure everyone else was comfortable. But in the process, I conformed and I lost myself. I didn’t know what my own needs were, and I had no idea how to set boundaries. I built a tough exterior while hiding my soft, “too sensitive” side. Because I had learned that my sensitivity wasn’t welcome, that it was too much. So, I dimmed my light, played small, and molded myself to fit in.
But not anymore. I embraced my sensitivity, my “too much” self, it’s actually my gift and owned it as my greatest strength. I reclaimed my power, my voice, and my truth. Now, I live life on my own terms, from the heart, mind & intuition, unapologetically. And yes, healing is an ongoing process, but every day, I choose to step deeper into my truth.
